Is this the kind of community you want to live in?<br \/>\nIn addition to asking how much money is in the reserve fund you should know:<br \/>\n\u2022 How much of your condominium contribution (fees) goes to the reserve fund?<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 When the last reserve fund study, report, and plan was completed?<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 What major expenses, if any, are being considered in the reserve fund plan?<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 How much money will be needed to establish and or maintain the fund to offset future replacement costs?<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 How does the board plan to raise those funds (increased condominium contributions, special assessments)?<\/p>\n<p>Ask for a copy of the reserve fund plan and the annual report.
